The true genesis of Harvest Hall wasn't born of noble conquest or royal decree, but of pure, unadulterated horniness and the pursuit of fine Dornish indulgence.
When old Areolus II of House Peacock first crossed the daunting peaks of the Red Mountains, he wasn't looking for trade routes or arable land. He had visited the sun-drenched, silk-hung pleasure houses of Dorne—where the wine flowed sweet, the spices burned hot, and inhibitions were left at the door—and he looked north across the dreary, prudish expanse of the Reach with absolute disgust. The lords of the Reach were choking on their own pomposity and stale bread. They needed looseness. They needed sin. They needed a premier Dornish brothel right on the doorstep of the Crownlands.
